This glamping tent is located in the LaHave Islands, which lie off the southwestern coast of Nova Scotia. Surrounded by the marine life-filled waters of the North Atlantic Ocean, ringed by a mixture of rocky shores and sandy beaches, and blanketed in peaceful coniferous forests, the islands provide an idyllic setting in which to enjoy a getaway full of outdoor recreation and reconnection to nature. While exploring the islands and their surroundings, guests may see raccoons, porcupines, black bears, rabbits, foxes, wild sheep, seals, porpoises, ospreys, cormorants, and eagles.

The office of the host is located in Dublin Shore, Nova Scotia, which is about one and a half hours from Halifax, where the nearest international airport. From Dublin Shore, guests will kayak to the island where the glamping tent is located.

In booking this tent, guests will also be booking an all-inclusive, adventure-filled getaway to the LaHave Islands. The adventure begins before guests even arrive at the tent; to reach the island campsite, guests will embark from the mainland shores of LeHave and kayak across the surrounding coastal waters of the North Atlantic Ocean.

Over the next two or three days, guests will go kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding around the archipelago of the LaHave Islands with a certified guide. Along the way, they will be able to stop for a swim at one of the islands' white sand beaches and practice yoga on the shore or even on their paddleboards, if they are feeling up to the challenge. Guests will also have ample opportunities for wildlife viewing and birdwatching, with seals, otters, ospreys, cormorants, and eagles being among the species they may spot.

While on land, guests can go on hikes on the campsite's island. They will also enjoy meals and snacks prepared by a wilderness chef, served by a campfire, and featuring fresh, locally-sourced, and regionally-specific delicacies such as scallops, oysters, lobster, water buffalo mozzarella, sourdough bread, and freshly-baked goods.
