This beautiful, wood-paneled cottage near Hasting Highlands in Ontario is ideal for a rural getaway unlike any other. With two bedrooms this cottage is great for up to five guests. The first bedroom features a queen-size bed and has private access to the screened-porch, which has a small dining table and seating for four guests. The second bedroom features two twin-size beds.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything guests need to whip up their favorite recipes, including a range cooker, a refrigerator, and a microwave. With a private beach for the exclusive use of guests, glampers are can take a dip in the pristine waters of Baptiste Lake or soak up the sun on the white sandy beach. Additionally, glampers can enjoy fun-filled days by getting in a game of volleyball, ping-pong or badminton, at one of the many onsite courts. Guests can also enjoy a round of horseshoes the horseshoe pit.
For those who fancy venturing off the property, Algonquin Park is just a short drive away and a great way to explore the surrounding area. At Algonquin Park, glampers can partake in a number of water sports including whitewater canoeing, boating, and fishing. For those who want to stay firmly on land, there are a number of trails to explore the rugged beauty of Ontario, as well as hunting and trapping, camping, and biking. Guests who visit in the winter months can enjoy skiing, dog sledding, and snowmobiling.
Guests can also explore the village of Bancroft, which is only a 15-minute drive away. There, glampers can dine at one of the delicious restaurants, go from craft shop to craft shop, and visit museums.

Smoking is not allowed in the cottages. Guests who smoke must do so on the porch of their cabin.
Under certain circumstances, extra guests may be accepted, however, this is subject to approval. There is an additional fee of $15 per person/night.
Pets are welcome; however, the property must be alerted before arrival. There is a per night per pet per cottage fee. (For weekly stays, this changes to a standard fee of $50 per pet.) Pets must be quiet and on a leash when outside of the cabin. Pets are not allowed on the beach or playground.
Boat and motor renters are charged only for the amount of gas they consume. Weekly cottage guests receive a 10% discount on boat rentals and docking.
Linens, dishes and kitchen utensils are supplied with each cottage. In the summer months, guests are asked to bring their own towels if possible. Read more
