Based in the lush surroundings of Batchawana Bay on Heritage Coast, this waterfront, camping cabin rental is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Superior, making it the ideal getaway for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and for those who simply want to unwind away from the congestion of the city. The camping cabin can sleep four guests in total with two cozy bedrooms located on the upper floor that each come with ultra-comfortable queen-size beds and private balconies that provide incredible views of Lake Superior. Also upstairs is a two-piece bathroom that includes a toilet and a sink as well as a full bathroom that features a shower and a bathtub while both come with fresh towels and a selection of toiletries for extra convenience.

Guests may prepare snacks and home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen that has been fitted with a stove top, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and an array of cooking utensils before sitting down at the dining table for four and admiring the lake views. In the living room, guests can kick their shoes off and sit back in the soft, plush sofas after a day out in Batchawana Provincial Park and sit in front of a movie for a well-deserved, lazy night in.

Outside, the patio looks out over the immaculate lawn where guests can take in the sun while planning the day’s adventures and the resort’s facilities, including the restaurant and tennis court, are just a short walk away.

The resort has a number of amenities that ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay including an on-site restaurant that provides top-class cuisine including some Austrian culinary delights. Guests can try their hand at a number of water sports in the Bay including kayaking, sailing, swimming, and fishing while friendly competition can be enjoyed on the on-site basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. Batchawana Provincial Park is home to a variety of scenic hiking trails including those that cross the sandy beach and nearby Chippewa Falls is the place to be to admire the waterfalls of Chippewa River in a secluded part of Batchawana Bay. The property has a southeast exposure, which makes for the ideal conditions for stargazing and watching the planets appear above the distant hills while in August, there are several opportunities to spot the glorious dancing colors of the Northern Lights.
