The sandy beach of Pinery Provincial Park is a public beach well worth a visit. Besides the beach, the park also features a variety of walking, biking, and cross-country skiing trails that wind through 25 square kilometers (nearly 10 square miles) of coastal dunes, oak savanna, and the wetlands of the Old Ausable Channel.
The rental is just a few minutes away from downtown Grand Bend, where guests will find a variety of shops and restaurants, as well attractions such as the Grand Bend Lighthouse and the 18-hole golf course of the Oakwood Resort. The rental is about an hour from London, Ontario, where the nearest international airport is located.

In just a two-minute walk or an even shorter drive, guests can go swimming at the private beach owned by the community to which the rental belongs. At nearby Pinery Provincial Park, guests will find a wide range of activity options. They can explore the park's coastal dunes, oak savanna, and wetlands via 10 walking trails, 14 kilometers of biking trails, and 38 kilometers of groomed cross-country skiing trails.
While exploring the trails, guests can keep an eye out for the 319 species of birds that live in or visit the park year-round or during migration periods. Resident and migrating birds include tundra swans, warblers, red-throated loons, scarlet tanagers, red-tailed hawks, and tufted titmice. On the park's Old Ausable Channel, guests can go canoeing, kayaking, hydro-biking, and paddle boating. They can also go fishing in the channel for nearly 50 species of fish, including catfish, northern pike, and bass.
Watercraft rentals are available directly from the park for all of the water sports activities mentioned above. Mountain bikes, coaster bikes, children's bikes, and dual bikes are available to rent from the park as well.
For dining and shopping, guests can head to downtown Grand Bend, which is just a few minutes away from the rental.
