Your hosts, Ted and Audrey are outdoorsy folks who love adventure and are engaged vocationally in seeking a more sustainable future for all. These commitments are rooted in “place” – appreciating the beauty and abundance of creation – particularly at 3 Brothers Falls. This feels like a sacred place to us and we look forward to sharing it with others.

The name of the property comes from the cottage of Ted’s childhood on Moira Lake. The hosts use this name in honor of the support of Dave Reeve, Ted’s father, who has enabled them to continue to have a place of gathering.

This riverfront cabin has a view of the 3rd waterfall in the Three Brothers Falls on the Burnt River that flows through Kinmount, Ontario. The hosts hope you enjoy the serenity experienced by sitting by the rushing water. They have worked hard to enhance the property and cabin over the years to make it a place of rest and relaxation. The Falls are a destination to fish and play, but most of all, the hosts feel blessed to live here to listen to the Falls as we sleep.

This is not high-end cottaging but a unique property where the natural beauty and enjoyment of the river and waterfall are where you will find value.

The rental concept is DIY style, at below market price, where people bring their own sheets and towels and clean up before they leave so it is ready for the next person. Basically, leave it as you found it and communicate any issues so we can fix them. It is our hope that, over time, we will establish a “community” of people that are “regulars” and we all learn to work together to enjoy this beautiful place for the long term. The vision is a community of like-minded people sharing this beautiful place.

There are 3 sites available to rent. A 24 x 24 log cabin with a large screen porch and two glamping style sites that are summer rentals. One is a Prospector tent and a Yurt. Both primarily sleep 2 but can accommodate up to 4 with the addition of a queen bed camper or a fold-out futon couch with a memory foam mattress.

The scenarios would be to have a larger group rent the whole place (cabin + prospector tent and/or yurt) or individuals or smaller groups chose one of the 3 accommodations.
