There is a fully-equipped kitchen for guests to prepare home-cooked meals in, and there is also space for them to sit together and eat in the room, as well. The living area is cozy and has a sofa, a flat-screen television, a DVD player, and free Wi-Fi so guests can enjoy a movie night in the well-heated space. During the summer months, there is air conditioning to ensure that guests are comfortable no matter the weather throughout their stay.

There is an abundance of activities available to glampers in the area. With the cottage being situated on the lakeshore, guests can go fishing and swim with ease, and the hosts have two paddleboats, five canoes, three kayaks, and two paddleboards for guests to take out on the lake at no extra cost. The Algonquin Park has numerous activities and excursions for visitors to enjoy. The park is home to a logging museum, a visitors' center, and The Art in the Park Art Gallery. There are also conducted walks and an excursion to go into the woods and hear wolves howling in their natural habitat. The park is an ideal place to visit for those looking for a cultural day or a day of wildlife and nature.
Just outside the nearby town of Maynooth, glampers can find the Highland Wilderness Tours company that offers different excursions depending on the season. During the summer months, glampers can get involved in a horse riding camp and trails. In the winter months, there is dog sledding, snowmobiling, and ATV tours are available all year.
