Amazing Private Group Vacation Rental with Hot Tub in Land O' Lakes

This glamping rental can be found on Badour Island on beautiful Bobs Lake, part of the Land O' Lakes region, and consists of a 3 bedroom main cottage written up in Fine Homebuilding magazine AND Ontario Out of Doors, a 2 bedroom guest cottage, a large bunkie that sleeps 4-6, an adult treehouse with a skylight, a stained glass window, a lead beveled glass front door, a view and electricity. There is a 6 person hot tub overlooking the lake, a half size basketball court in the middle of the woods, lit at night, a private dock and a glamping tent. We have just added pickleball.

The main cottage is a beautiful post and beam cottage that features lots of windows throughout and comes with pine wood flooring, as well as an open floor plan in the kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the middle of the large room, and the ceilings are two stories high, featuring a second set of windows on all four sides that are 16 feet high.

The main Cottage has three small bedrooms, two on the main floor and one on the upper floor. The upper bedroom has a queen-size bed, which is surrounded on three sides by windows, while the fourth side overlooks the living room, like a loft. The main floor bedrooms each have a wall of windows, and one has a queen-size bed, while the other has bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom.

The fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher and trash compactor, as well as a water purification system, making the water safe to drink from any faucet. Across the front of the cottage, there is a large deck that wraps around to the back of the cottage rental, where guests will find a gas barbecue. In addition, there are hammocks and swinging chairs, as well as tables to eat out on and chairs to relax in, while guests take in the beautiful lake views. Many guests bring their iPods to the cottage. There is also a ping pong table, a chess set, board games, and puzzles.

Out back of the cottage, there is a shed with a washer and dryer. There is also a half-size basketball court with a mural that gets lit up at night, as well as an outdoor hot shower.

Just a few yards away sits the guest cottage. Downstairs, there is a large living room set up as a dormitory with 4 single beds and a double futon couch. and a tiny bedroom with bunk beds. There is also a bathroom with a compost toilet and an outdoor hot shower. In addition, there is a punching bag and boxing gloves for guests to work out with, as well as an exercise bike.

There are two covered porches—one downstairs and one off of the bedroom on the second floor—both of which have wonderful views of the lake. Upstairs, there is a lovely bedroom with a queen-size bed, an air conditioner, a telescope, a skylight that opens, and the aforementioned covered porch.

The tree house in Land O' Lakes, Ontario is a very unique accommodation that is located on the adjacent plot of land, and it comes with a queen-size bed, a rocking chair, a deck, a skylight, a stained glass window, a mural of Bob's Lake, a lead beveled glass front door. We now have electricity. There is also a dog ramp in the back, built for the host's poodle who liked to be up there with the host.

There is a fancy exterior bathroom with a flush toilet and sink. There is also a regular outhouse and 2 compost toilets. The dock, of which there are 79 steps to get down to it, has a deck with Adirondack chairs and a chase lounge and a swinging bench. There is also storage for tubes, fishing poles, water skis, and paddles.

The host provides a kayak and a canoe. For rentals of 3 days or more, the host provides a fishing boat with a motor. Additional boats as well as larger fishing boats, pontoon, and speed can be rented on-site.

The hosts compost their fruits and vegetables in a composter in the back of the main cottage, in order to both help the environment and limit the trash they collect. All trash must be brought to the dumpster on Bradshaw Road. The trash compactor considerably limits the amount. The hosts also recycle.
