This accommodation is located in Lion’s Head, Ontario, a town on the eastern side of the Bruce Peninsula, looking out over the Georgian Bay. The peninsula juts out from southern Ontario into Lake Huron, one of the five Great Lakes of North America. At the northern tip of the peninsula is the Bruce Peninsula National Park, a large federally protected area that runs along the northern coast of the peninsula, looking onto Lake Huron. The park features beautiful hiking and biking trails where the local flora and fauna can thrive without human intervention. To the west of the park is the resort town of Tobermory. The town is known for its shipwrecks, and there is a huge scuba diving community, known as the largest freshwater scuba diving spot in the world. Jutting out into Lake Huron, Bruce Peninsula is teeming with activities for guests to enjoy. Visitors can head onto the beautiful beaches, relax on the sand as the sun shines down from above or hop into the water for a cool and refreshing swim. Guests can also go boating, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing in Lake Huron and enjoy a wonderful day out on the water. Additionally, the region is known for its fantastic shipwrecks, so guests should grab some scuba gear and explore the waters surrounding the area. While life on the water can be fun, if guests are looking to stay dry, there are plenty of fantastic activities that don’t require a swimsuit. Guests can head into the Bruce Peninsula National Park, with plenty of great hiking and biking trails. There are wonderful trails, including a long one that runs along the coast looking out over Lake Huron, where guests can experience the local flora and fauna of the region.
