This elegant suite rental is perfect for two lucky guests to enjoy a romantic getaway near the gorgeous Thousand Islands and Prince Edward County regions in Ontario. The private second-floor retreat is in a beautifully renovated old grist mill on the Salmon River and glampers will have viewing of two fabulous waterfalls right on the property as well as a Juliette balcony where they can step outside and view the river and gardens right from their suite. Guests will have a regal French bedroom that comes with a queen-size bed and a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress, with quality bedding where they can lull off to sleep with the sounds of the nearby waterfalls. Linens and towels are kindly provided by the hosts.
Decorated with antiques, sublime oak floors, carpeting, and hand sewn silk lampshades, the suite boasts a relaxing atmosphere. Guests also have a self-contained kitchenette which comes with a fridge, food storage and prep areas, a microwave, a toaster/convection oven, an induction hot plate, a french press coffeemaker, tea, coffee, all pots and pans, and utensils.
Outside, glampers will have full access to the fantastic patio area by the flowing waterfalls. The provided kayaks, canoe, paddleboat—summer and early fall—and touring bicycles are the ideal way to explore this stunning area of the world. The riverside hot tub also makes the perfect spot for guests to wind down as the sun sets on another perfect day.
Kayaks, canoes, peddle boats, and bicycles are available for guests to explore the surrounding area from May until Thanksgiving. The property boasts an outdoor hot tub, for which guests have private use of on the odd-numbered hours. The property also provides one parking space for guests to use.
Guests will be able to access the internet and make local calls on the telephone.

Guests should also note that this property is not suitable for children or those in a wheelchair. The maximum occupancy is two guests, and the minimum age for renters is 21 years old.
There is a fully refundable damage deposit of $200, which will be held on the guest's card at the time of confirmation and released back to the guest 48 hours after check-out pending no damages.
Only the two booked guests are allowed in the property, no extra guests will be permitted.

Guests can relax with a book by the waterfall and riverside, which radiate peace and serenity. Alternatively we can provide guests with a canoe, kayaks, peddle boat and bicycles for exploring the river and our country roads. Guests can even take a dip in the waterfalls.
Additionally, dining and a riverside fire at the water's edge during the evening are great ways to pass time, as is a soak in the hot tub. During the winter, if the lake outside freezes over, guests can bring their ice skates, snowshoes, or cross-country skis for fun just outside the door or at one of the nearby conservation areas. Guests can spot an array of wildlife on the property including ducks, geese, otters, eagles, great blue herons, songbirds, turtles, and beavers.
Guests can visit the Sandbanks Provincial Park, which has a wonderful white sand beach and is a great place to spend a summer's day sunning and swimming with a free pass. The Thousand Islands offers breathtaking vistas upon various tour and dinner cruises leaving from either Kingston or Gananoque.
Wine and beer lovers will find themselves in paradise, with the Prince Edward County just 10 minutes from the property, which is Ontario's fastest growing wine and beer region. Guests can explore the many wineries vineyards and breweries where they can take a tour and sample the delicious local produce.
