This gorgeous cabin rental is located on the property of a relaxing nature retreat near Niagara Falls, Canada. Just a 15 minute drive to the brink of the falls, and 12 minutes to a shopping center and all the amenities. The cabin is part of nature center and animal sanctuary. Proceeds from the rentals of the cabin help to maintain and keep the wonderful rescued animals on the property. Donkeys, mules, potbelly pigs, goats, and dogs all share the space. Guests can enjoy there antics and energy, or can also enjoy the privacy. (The property does not crowd fund, nor use social media, it is solely through guests patronage that helps maintain and care for the wonderful rescues).
The cabin sleeps up to four guests. The separate bedroom has a queen size bed and some additional sleeping options provided; a roll-away cot, single, and or an airbed mattress with bedding provided. The accommodation is completed by a gas fireplace and a small functional kitchen stocked with utensils, a small fridge, a stove top, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, and assorted pots. There is a large selection of movies made available. The cabin boasts a two-seater infrared sauna, a barbecue, and three large skylights in the main room. Guests will feel right at home at this spectacular nature preserve.
Perfectly secluded from the main house on the property, this cabin has made relaxation and connection to nature a priority. Guests will find an infrared sauna inside the cabin and guests of both the cabin and the tiny house will have access to a private fire pit with specific premanufactured logs provided by the host. Kayaks and fishing rods are also available.
The most important feature of this property is the donkey sanctuary, home to seven donkeys, one mule, four pot belly piggies, two little goats, and three dogs of which two rentals go to helping maintain and care for.
The cabin is self-catering with a lightly stocked kitchen. Tea and coffee are stocked in the kitchen, but this property does not serve breakfast. Guests should note, the kitchenette area is suited for light cooking and sandwiches, it is not a full-service kitchen. There is a four burner stove top, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, coffeemaker and all utensils and dishes, cookware. There is no large oven. The propane barbecue is outside.

The hosts have a very strict policy and highly recommend cancellation insurance at time of booking, as the retreat is unique and the rental revenue is what allows them to care for the rescues. It is a unique property that is booked well in advance and have found it difficult and a loss to try to re-rent at short notices. The hosts appreciate guest understanding.
RBC, just to name one cancellation company, has a great product at a reasonable price and can be done online no matter where guests live.
In season, June to mid-October, there is a three-night minimum stay.
The cabin is best suited to two adults and two children or three adults. There is a $15.00 per day charge for the third and fourth person.

Within a 15-minute drive from this lovely accommodation, guests will find casinos, lakes, great beaches, shopping centers, and, of course, the romantic Niagara Falls. A little further down the Niagara River Parkway rests Niagara-on-the-Lake, a well-known town with wineries and breweries as well as fine dining and shopping available to the guests.
For weekend guests, the hosts are happy to organize a complimentary "meet and greet" with the animals. Guests can meet the lovely rescued donkeys, potbelly piggies, goats, and dogs that this property supports and partake in a memorable experience during your vacation or getaway.
