This historic cottage rental near Lake Ontario in Otonabee is ideal for up to seven guests to enjoy a tranquil retreat. There are three beautifully decorated bedrooms, the first boasts a canopy queen-size bed, a futon that can be pulled out into a full-size bed and a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, the second bedroom contains a king-size Sealy Posturepedic bed or twin beds as well as a local artist's painted wall mural, while the final bedroom also has a king-size Sealy Posturepedic bed and more charming artwork. Linens and towels are kindly provided by the hosts.

Downstairs, guests have a large kitchen and dining area with plenty of seating and all the amenities needed to cook up a storm including an oven, a stove, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, and all the necessary plates and utensils. There is also a comfortable living room with a theatre-style screen to watch TV, Netflix, and DVDs. Other handy amenities include Wi-Fi and free parking.

Outside, guests have some fabulous decking areas where they can enjoy a cold drink while admiring the colorful gardens and majestic views.

This peaceful retreat has everything guests need for an unforgettable stay. The host provides fine linens and plush towels. There is floor heating to ensure guests are cozy during their stay. Additionally, there is Wi-Fi throughout. Guests have access to all communal areas, which include a common room, a kitchen, and a dining area.

Water sports lovers can make their way to Otonabee River for a day filled with kayaking and canoeing before an afternoon at the Canadian Canoe Museum.
