This pet-friendly, secluded cabin is located in Port Burwell, Ontario and can accommodate 12 guests. There are five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The first four bedrooms each have a queen-size bed and the fifth bedroom has two twin beds. The basement nook has a set of twin bunk beds. Cots and couches are also available in the case of extra guests. In the three full bathrooms, guests will find a sink, a toilet, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided.
In the living room, guests will find antique furniture, a sectional sofa, a rocking chair, and a flat-screen cable TV with a DVD player. In the game room, guests will find a pool table and a card table. In the outdoor family room, guests will find a wood-burning stove and comfy seating. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, a stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a tea kettle, and a coffeemaker. Other amenities include parking, heating, and a double-car garage with a couch, a wood cookstove, a fridge, and a large table.
Outside, there is a front porch, a furnished back deck, a gas grill, a fire pit, outdoor seating, a spacious grassy yard, 10 miles of hiking trails, four wildlife ponds, two swimming and fishing docks, and two miles of frontage on Otter River.
This rental includes on-site parking. All the cabins are rustic with no running water or electricity. Some have solar lighting and the others are supplied with battery operated lights. All are equipped with dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, basic necessities, pillows, a propane camp stove, a fire pit, and a picnic table. Guests have to bring their own drinking water, bedding or sleeping bags, and pillowcases. They are all insulated with a wood stove except for the old barn, which is only for summer use.
Five-gallon containers of water are supplied for washing up and firewood is also provided. Each cabin has its own individual outhouse.
All the cabins have access to the two-person shower and running water from outdoor taps.
In the guest house, there are two TVs with full satellite reception, DVD players, a collection of games, and a pool table. There is also a wood-burning stove to keep guests nice and cozy.
Outside, guests can have a BBQ on the grill while enjoying the fresh air and then roast marshmallows over the fire pit as the stars begin to twinkle in the night sky.
Guests have access to four on-site ponds, two of which feature docks for swimming and catch-and-release fishing. There are 10 miles of private trails right on the property, as well as two miles of riverfront on Otter River.

Right at the property ponds, guests can go swimming or catch-and-release fishing at either of the two docks. The ponds are designed to attract wildlife, so guests can prepare the camera and get some priceless shots of the local birds and animals. Guests can also head to Otter River or Lake Erie for more fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, and tubing. Groomed ATV trails are just minutes away and guests can hire ATV tours through the property. Guests can also enjoy scenic walks, hikes, bike rides, and horseback rides along the 10 miles of private trails. A local guide can provide fascinating eco-tours through the wilderness. In the spring, the maple trees are ready for syrup collecting. Winter guests can enjoy a wide selection of activities, including snowmobiling, tobogganing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
