In South River, guests can book fishing and dog sledding trips from the expedition guides in town, or rent ATVs and snowmobiles to explore the trails near the house. At the Stewart Coughlin Ranch, glampers can go horseback riding, and there are two golf courses as well as a disc golf course near town as well. The village has its own brewery and there are plenty of restaurants for eating out nearby, or guests can visit one of the many art galleries--including the Nature Natives Art Gallery--walking distance from our accommodation.

Mikiskew Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial park are popular for glampers hoping to venture into Ontario's rustic landscape, as both offer numerous hiking trails through the forests surrounding the scenic lakes and rivers. There are also ample opportunities for watching wildlife, like moose, bears, and loons.
