The private cabin near Algonquin Park in South River, Ontario, is a cheerful two-bedroom accommodation perfect for up to seven guests. The colorful main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, patterned quilt, and pillows, as well as a large window to let in the soft sunlight off the lake. The second bedroom has a set of twin-size bunk beds, as well as a third single bed against the opposite wall.

The full bathroom has a standing shower, and the kitchen is fully equipped, with a large connecting dining area that seats four as well as a tall breakfast table with two matching chairs. The blue-themed living room has a large sofa that pulls out to become a double-bed, as well as two comfortable armchairs that face the large curtained window looking out at the lake and Algonquin Park across the water. The cabin also has wireless internet

The covered front porch comes with some yard games, and the side patio comes with a large glass table and four chairs. Guests also have access to a fire pit in the yard and the shared waterfront dock that comes with a canoe and kayak, so guests can venture out on the lake and breathe in the Ontario air as often as they please.

The accommodation comes with a fully stocked private kitchen, a bathroom, and plenty of sleeping space for multiple guests. Guests will have their own deck and fire pit, as well as a private barbecue for their personal use. The property is great for hosting events, as it is spacious and nestled in groves of trees on the lake. This two-acre property, shoreline, and boats are shared amongst all of the guests.

While on the property, guests can grill out in the front yard or kayak, fish, and swim in the lake. Relax on the dock with a view or have a picnic by the water; the area offers scenic views from every vantage point in the area.

In South River, guests can book fishing and dog sledding trips from the expedition guides in town, or rent ATVs and snowmobiles to explore the trails near the house. At the Stewart Coughlin Ranch, glampers can go horseback riding, and there are two golf courses as well as a disc golf course near town as well. The village has its own brewery and there are plenty of restaurants for eating out nearby, or guests can visit one of the many art galleries--including the Nature Natives Art Gallery--walking distance from our accommodation.

Mikiskew Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial park are popular for glampers hoping to venture into Ontario's rustic landscape, as both offer numerous hiking trails through the forests surrounding the scenic lakes and rivers. There are also ample opportunities for watching wildlife, like moose, bears, and loons.
