The Mississagi River Valley is one of the most popular and fertile fishing destinations in North America. Year-round, guests can go fishing in the lakes and rivers for a large variety of fish, including bass, trout, walleye, and pickerel. In the fall, guests can go fishing for salmon in the Mississauga and Thessalon rivers, or ice fishing in the winter at Cumming Lake.

In the spring and summer, guests can go sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and rafting. They can also swim in the clean, pristine water, or just relax sitting on the docks or lake shore. In the winter, guests can go snowmobiling or cross-country skiing at the Algoma Snow Mountain Trails.

Being in the center of Ontario's alpine Algoma district, guests at the cottages will also have plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, horseback riding, climbing, and wildlife viewing on several nature trails cutting through the mountains or along the lakes and rivers. Guests can also take picnics at the nearby Little White River Provincial Park, or cool off at the gorgeous Aubrey Falls. Guests can also participate in guided tours through Algoma's famous waterfalls and hot springs.

Lastly, the town of Thessalon, only 25 minutes away from the cottages, has everything guests might need during their stay, whether it be banking or grocery shopping or medical services. There are also many fine restaurants and unique crafts shops for souvenirs.
