The ideal Canadian getaway, this cozy two-bedroom, one-bath lakefront cottage is located on eastern Prince Edward Island in Murray Harbour. The rental can accommodate up to six guests and their small pets. Each bedroom has a comfy double bed, and the sleeper sofa in the living area allows for extra sleeping space. In the bathroom, glampers will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided.

The main room boasts an open floor plan featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for four, a plush couch, and a satellite television. The kitchen comes with all the essentials for making delicious meals including a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. A screened in porch is also connected to the rental, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh island air.

Outside, there is a barbecue and a picnic table overlooking the freshwater lake and private dock, all of which glampers will have access to during their stay. A spacious yard and endless forest trails provide the perfect place for guests to walk their dog.

Each cottage is equipped with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, satellite television, and a DVD player. Guests will also have access to laundry facilities on site, as well as a movie library and telephone in the office for free long distance calls within Canada and the United States. Outside, each cottage has an individual barbecue and picnic table, great for enjoying meals overlooking the private freshwater lake and dock. Guests can also choose to rent a gas barbecue for a small extra charge. A rowboat, canoe, and pedal boat with life jackets are available for use on the lake free of charge. Glampers can also take advantage of the property’s trails, which are connected to the Prince Edward Island’s Confederation Trail.

The property sits on a semi-private freshwater lake, abundant with trout, and surrounded by pines, maple, price, fir and birch trees. Guests will have access to the lake with free boats including a canoe, kayaks, rowboat and pedal boat, as well as the many woodland trails, which connect to the famous Confederation Trail.

Glampers will feel like they are truly escaping it all with the tranquil forest surroundings, while still being right around the corner from all that eastern Prince Edward Island has to offer, including quaint fishing villages, golf courses like Brudenell and Dunderave, and wineries such as Rossignol Estate and Newman Estate.
