There are numerous other activities on offer on the lake, such as swimming, kayaking, water-skiing, and pedal boating. Guests who choose to hire a motorboat might enjoy a day trip to the ghost town of Hunters Point, with its old trading post and church, and its pristine and deserted beach. Canal Bay is also a great option for a sightseeing trip, with its natural canal and its towering cliffs. Those who prefer to stay on dry land can explore the island on foot, with a walk or a hike among stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. Glampers should be sure to take along their cameras for those unique and memorable photo opportunities. Some of the native creatures, such as the squirrels, can be hand fed, which many children in the group are sure to love.
