Guests at this hobbit home will have a propane stove for cooking, with all of the necessary utensils to prepare a delicious home-cooked meal. In the winter, the wood-burning stove keeps the rental warm and cozy and creates a snug atmosphere. The host is committed to a vision of sustainability, and there is an environmentally friendly composting toilet, shower, and a full bathroom provided. Lighting in the rental is supplied by solar panels. Glampers can share stories in the evening around an open fire and roast marshmallows, as there is a fire pit in the garden. A large bundle of wood can be purchased from the host for an additional $5 fee.

Guests are advised that their accommodation is set in the woods about half of a mile from the parking lot. Therefore, there will be a small but scenic walk to the accommodation from the car.

Glampers will be spoiled for choice when it comes to outdoor activities at this site. The forests and rivers provide ample hiking, biking, cycling, and golfing opportunities in the summer; and in the winter, snow transforms this woodland into excellent terrain for dog sledding.
At Nominingue golf club, guests can take try the 18-hole golf course, and guests can rent equipment and take lessons. In the nearby forest, a former railway track was transformed into a cycling path and roller-skating track, which stretches for miles.
In the summer months, there is a beautiful sand beach along Nominingue Lake where guests can relax and enjoy a supervised swimming. Guests can also partake in volleyball, petanque, ping-pong and buoy rafting. There are opportunities to rent a boat, go windsurfing, or enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and sailing along the nearby lake.
