This lakefront vacation rental is situated right on the beautiful Lac Gauvreau near Wakefield in Quebec, Canada, and can accommodate up to six guests. There are three bedrooms and one full bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. The second bedroom features a double bed, while the third bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds. Linens and towels are provided.

The main room boasts an open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling bay windows offering incredible lake and forest vistas. In the living room, guests will find a flat screen television with an Apple TV box, two plush sofas, armchairs, and a cozy wood burning stove. Adjacent, there is a dining table for four, as well as a fully equipped kitchen that comes with a stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, and an island. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, Netflix access, and a washer and dryer. Just off the main room, there is a screened in porch with three sofas, great for gathering together after a fun day on the lake.

Outside, there is a spacious yard featuring a play set for children, a picnic table, and a tree house. There is also a lovely deck overlooking the lake with lounge chairs, a barbecue, and a dining table for six. Glampers can also enjoy the small sandy beach with private access to Lac Gauvreau. Two kayaks and a canoe are provided free of charge.

During their stay, guests will stay connected with Wi-Fi, Netflix access, and a flat screen television with an Apple TV box. For glampers’ convenience, the cottage also has a washer and dryer. Outside, there is a spacious, uncovered deck surrounded by lush trees and overlooking Lac Gauvreau with two lounge chairs, an outdoor dining table with six chairs, and a gas barbecue grill. On cooler days, the screened in porch with ample seating is perfect to still enjoy the beautiful surrounds. The back yard also has a picnic table, a tree house, and a swing set with a slide, great for those who are glamping with kids. The cottage has direct lake access with a private small sandy beach, two kayaks, and a canoe.

Glampers could easily spend all of their time within just a few miles of this site, as there is so much to see and do. There is something for every season. In the winter, guests can spend their days snowshoeing, winter hiking, skiing, and snowboarding at the local ski resorts, or even ice skating through Gatineau Park Forest at the new skate way. In the summer, the same Gatineau Park Forest is a popular place for hiking or guests can take advantage of the private lake access to Lac Gauvreau right out their back door by fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or taking the pontoon boat out for a spin. Wakefield is also a cozy, artistic town with lots of music venues, fresh markets, and waterfront restaurants, so visitors will love exploring the local vibes during their stay.
