This cottage getaway lies just steps from the shore of Lake Carmel and is sheltered by tall spruces on a secluded resort near Montreal and Québec city. It has a beautiful stone exterior that includes a charming patio and a spacious lawn while inside, the cottage has been designed with wood panel walls and a varnished hardwood floor. It can sleep up to two adults and one child in total with a queen-size bed and a single bed, both complete with quality linens and plush pillows, within the open concept room.
Guests can prepare home-cooked meals in the fully-equipped kitchen that includes an oven, a four-burner stove, a microwave, a toaster and a coffeemaker as well as an array of cooking utensils. There is a dining table for three in front of the huge window that offers sublime views of the lake or guests can choose to take their meals outside and enjoy them on the patio in the summer sun.
Guests have access to a variety of on-site amenities including a communal restaurant, bar, and outfitter where guests can rent a variety of outdoor equipment including fishing gear. The cottage itself comes with a private terrace as well as a picnic table and a grill for barbecues in the sun.

The area surrounding Lanaudière makes for a superb glamping destination thanks to its natural beauty and opportunities for adventure. Guests can explore the scenic hiking and biking trails throughout the Mont-Tremblant National Park or head to Parc des Chutes Dorwin for cycling, canoeing, and kayaking while both parks offer cross-country skiing in the winter. On-site, guests can fish for brown trout and rainbow trout on Lake Carmel or take a kayak onto the water and admire the incredible scenery from the middle of the lake.
For a more relaxing day out, guests can visit the Joliette Art Museum and the Gilles Villeneuve Museum, which showcases an array of memorabilia from the legendary Formula 1 driver.
