Haines Junction is a year-round outdoor adventure mecca! In the summer, the mountains, parks, lakes, and forests invite hiking, climbing, boating, kayaking, rafting, and fishing. When winter blankets the area with snow, it is time for skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, ice fishing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, and more. Many of these activities can be embarked upon right from the property itself. Guests can venture off on their own or join a guided tour with the area experts.

The ice cave in Haines Junction is worthy of a visit but is best seen during colder months of the year. The Alsek Valley Trail is 32 miles round trip through Kluane National Park and can be experienced in one to three-day stints. The trail is ideal for biking and the first nine miles are open to four-wheel driving. Visitors should be on the lookout for the abundant wildlife who make their home here. Campfire talks and guided interpretive walks in the park are available throughout the summer.

Those interested in learning more about the history of the area can visit The Da Kų Culture Centre in nearby Dakwäkädais. This innovative cultural facility hosts a variety of exhibit that highlight the culture and history of the Champagne and Aishihik people.
