Description of Glamping Units
Each of the gorgeous domes on this property in Coquimbo, Chile can accommodate four people. There are one bedroom and one full bathroom. The dome is seven meters in diameter, has a terrace, and overlooks the sea. The second-floor loft bedroom has one double bed and an upper window perfect for stargazing. On the first level of each dome, there is a living room, a sofa bed, and a single bed. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, a mirror, and a whirlpool tub and shower. One dome option has an additional bathroom equipped with a toilet, a sink, a mirror, and a shower. Guests should contact the host for more information. Linens and towels are provided in all domes.
Breakfast is included in the high season (Dec. 15 to March 14), and the accommodations are just meters from excellent restaurants in Caleta. In addition, the domes are equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, a kettle, and crockery to assure a pleasant stay for glampers.

This property is located in Punta Choros, Chile and is part of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve, home to a large colony of Humboldt penguins, as well as a variety of wildlife species including bottlenose dolphins, sea lions, sea turtles, and whales. This reserve contains three islands–Punta Choros, Damas, and Chañaral de Aceituno. Punta Choros belongs to the region of Coquimbo, which is known for its diverse marine life, stunning beaches, and clear skies. The environment is characterized by a fragile, semi-arid ecosystem with low annual rainfall and rich flora, which include añañucas yellow lilies.
While the property itself is secluded, there is easy access to the coastal communities of Punta de Choros, Caleta Chañaral, and Chañaral de Aceituno, where various restaurants can be found. The island of Chañaral de Aceituno, which belongs to the Atacama region, is just 15 minutes from Punta de Choros by the coastal road.
Guests who stay on this property between December and April will be able to view whales as they stop to feed at the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve on their yearly migration from the warm waters of Central America to Antarctica. While on this property, guests should be sure to take a boat tour in the waters of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve. A permanent population of bottlenose dolphins resides here, and these elegant animals usually follow the boats and show off their impressive jumping and swimming skills.
On the property, glampers can spend the day playing volleyball, renting bicycles, walking along the beach, and whale watching. The diversity in fauna is incredibly diverse and guests will spot wildlife such as bottlenose dolphins, penguins, guanacos, foxes, sea lions, and various birds.

There are no ATMS, so you must carry cash. There is no place to refuel. It is recommended you refuel in La Serena or Route 5 North. There are some stores where you can purchase commodities.
