Go for a swim in the swimming lagoon, or stroll the five miles of beach in the evening, too. The nearby town of Quintay is a nice place to visit for a lunch out, and guests can also go visit Pablo Neruda's house in Isla Negra, or take a day trip to visit Valparaíso or Viña del Mar. Birdwatching is another popular activity in the area, and Tunquen is home to woodpeckers, California quails, morning doves, barn owls, burrowing owls, night crowned herons, giant hummingbirds, and more.
