Best time to visit Costa Rica

If you’re going to be spending lots of time outside, you’re probably wondering when is the best time to visit Costa Rica and go luxury camping. Costa Rica has a tropical climate and with the mountain ranges running through the middle, the Pacific and Caribbean sides of Costa Rica have their own microclimates. The Pacific region has a well-defined dry and rainy season. Dry season is from December to March, April is a transition month, and rainy season is from May to October, November again being a month of transition. The driest and hottest month is March while September and October are the rainiest months. The Caribbean side of the country has more steady rainfall throughout the year, with two relatively dry periods, between February and March and the second between September and October.
