COVID-19 Actions

We are a small, private resort with five rooms (maximum capacity of 24 guests) in tropical gardens set around one of the largest pools in the area. From mid March to mid May 2022, Libélua was completely closed to guests whilst we deep cleaned and disinfected all the entire resort. We are committed to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We have made improvements to our daily room cleaning routine, increased the frequency of disinfecting public areas, educated our staff about effective hand washing techniques, ensured our staff wear masks when interacting with guests, provided hand santiser throughout the resort and distanced tables in our communal areas.

On sunny days, glampers can let time fly by swimming, splashing, and floating in the lovely lagoon-style pool, or sunbathing in the lounge chairs with a craft cocktail. There are stunning sandy beaches mere minutes away with endless opportunities for more swimming, beachcombing, paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, and even surfing lessons with world-class surfers.

Sailing is offered nearby, as well as sailing lessons for beginners at the Costa Rica Sailing Center. Should guests long to explore the breathtaking Guanacaste Coast, they can do so by embarking on a completely private catamaran tour, spotting beaches like Sugar Beach. Scuba divers should be sure to visit the Las Catalinas Islands, which boast some of the best scuba diving in all of Costa Rica.

Back on land, zip-lining, horseback riding, and hiking trails are all minutes away from the property and are great ways to experience the local jungles. Glampers can take a Canopy Tour of Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region, or experience six ecosystems while hiking the natural park of Rincon de la Vieja.
