Best time of year to visit Australia

As it is in the Southern Hemisphere, seasons in Australia are the opposite of the Northern Hemisphere with fall and winter from June through August and spring and summer from December through February. As Australia is so large, the best time of year to visit definitely depends on where you will be on holiday. The Northern Territory, home to Alice Springs, has temperate, dry winters with temperatures in the 20s Celsius (or 70s Fahrenheit) and has extremely hot summers with heavy rains. Queensland and New South Wales tend to have slightly colder winters with some rain, warm summers, and very nice temperatures for spring and fall. Canopy camping rentals & much more are well worth a visit. South Australia sees winter temperatures that don't tend to go below 10° C (or 45°F) and summer temperatures that don't tend to rise past the mid-20s C (or low 80s F). The outback, however, sees very drastic temperatures and in winter or summer, these should be taken seriously. For those visiting to go whale watching in Nullarbor, the winter can be the best time—July and August are peak whale season. Western Australia is so large it has a few different climates. In general, the south is temperate with four distinct seasons, while the north is more tropical with wet and dry seasons. No matter the season, a camping Australia holiday here is a great way to get outdoors. Book your luxury, Australia holiday here!
