The Great Otway National Park provides visitors with a unique opportunity to meander through rainforests filled with scenic streams and waterfalls as they make their way to the coast, to unwind on the gorgeous beaches.

Cape Otway plays host to some extremely impressive natural attractions, such as The Twelve Apostles, a collection of rocks right off the shore of nearby Port Campbell National Park along the Great Ocean Road. Although only eight rocks remain standing, it’s worthwhile to pay them a visit along with the oldest and most enchanting lighthouse in Australia, The Cape Otway Lightstation. After climbing the steps to the top of the famously known as the “Beacon of Light,” visitors might be able to spot whales swimming and splashing about in the distant water, or head back down to the beach and over to Marengo Reef to spot fur seals and resident fairy penguins. For a unique experience, glampers are encouraged to set out on the Great Ocean Walk, a long trail for hikers of all abilities to leisurely appreciate the coastline.

Maits Rest is another walking trail nearby that guests can spend a full day exploring. The circular walking trail is set on a boardwalk built over gullies and green mossy roots, providing visitors with an up-close and personal experience with the tranquil forest. Guests inclined to continue exploring forestry should be sure to spend time at Melba Gully State Park, where the half-hour Madsen's Track Nature Walk leads lovers of all things nature to spectacular trees, fern gullies, and unusual glow worms that light up the trail at night.

Up and down the Great Ocean Road, guests will find countless activities to try and a plethora of exciting places to discover.
