Thanks to the prime setting of this glamping tent, glampers will be spoiled for choice with ample things to do, see, and experience in the heart of the western Catskills. For the intrepid glamper, there are hiking and walking trails abound and are great for exploring the surrounding valleys, meadows, and rugged mountains. Shavertown Trail is popular and offers a bit of a challenge, however; the view of the Pepacton Reservoir makes it worthwhile. Additionally, there are picnic spots along the way and ample opportunity to spot birdlife and wildlife.
Avid anglers can pack up their fishing gear and head to Pepacton Reservoir, just three miles from the tent, which boasts the biggest brown trout in the east and makes for a wonderful day out. Glampers can also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. When winter arrives, the surrounding hills and mountains boast trails that are ideal for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
Furthermore, this area offers an eclectic blend of boutiques and art galleries as well as charming restaurants and taverns that burst with local aromas and flavors that keep glampers coming back for more.
