The past is truly alive in this region, so history buffs rejoice! Guests are to be sure to visit the Cape Vincent Historical Museum and learn the rich history of the village. Definitely a great spot for boat and water enthusiasts—if guests bring along their own boats, there's a free boat tie-up at the village dock or at the State Department of Environmental Conservation Research Station. Boat tours to check out the islands and historical castles are available from Alexandria Bay or Gananoque, Ontario. For more fun on the water, guests can rent a kayak from nearby Clayton, go fishing, or go swimming.
