Rustic Glamping Yurt in Willowemoc Wild Forest, New York
This glamping site in Willowemoc Wild Forest, New York, offers guests a chance to get close to nature in a private spot without feeling totally isolated. Comfortable beds, made of logs cut from trees on the grounds, and special decor that changes with the seasons add warmth and charm to the atmosphere.
Guests have a yurt and 50 private acres of forest with trails. The yurt and land connect directly to the Willowemoc Wild Forest area of the Catskill Forest Preserve for added adventure for those who seek a wilderness experience.
There are two queen-size, log bunk beds and a queen-size futon. The bathroom is equipped with a composting toilet, shower, and sink, all within the yurt. A large deck overlooks the forest below, and on it is a large BBQ grill, outdoor wash sink, and picnic table with umbrella. Guests can cook up a feast and relax on the decking in the summer, or take a winter walk and drink hot cocoa while listening to the stillness of the forest.
This beautiful, rustic yurt is a five-minute walk from the parking area, which lends to the feeling of wilderness and serenity.

The Willowemoc River is nearby and offers world renowned trout fishing and is visited by fly fishermen from around the world. If hunting is your pleasure, the area also offers some of the best whitetail deer, turkey and small game for your pursuit of the sport.
Some of the other attractions our area offers are great museums, and personal shopping experiences at some of the local towns like Livingston Manor, Roscoe (Trout Town), and Jeffersonville. For those who want a break from those big box stores, this is a most enjoyable day out, not to mention the fine restaurants in the area for those who want a break from cooking. -

We understand that some guests like to bring their pets, and we like to offer a pet-friendly facility, however, those pets MUST not be allowed on our beds and furniture. If we find pet hair on said or other indication of damage caused by said pets, the pet owner will be charged a cleaning fee of $100.00 and/or any fee for damage that a pet causes. Be respectful and grateful that we offer a place that allows your pets to join you on your visits. We would sure not like restricting pets altogether.
