Romantic Cabin for Two People with Brick Fireplace in Upstate New York
This charming cabin is the perfect rental for two people to enjoy a romantic getaway in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. The cabin features one bedroom and one bathroom and it is heated and open for year round use. The bedroom has a king-size bed and sliding glass doors that open up onto a patio porch. The bathroom has a stall shower and an antique clawfoot bathtub. The living room has a cathedral ceiling and a brick fireplace, a dining room table, and a breakfast bar adjoining the kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with a sink, an oven with a stove and all utensils for glampers to cook and enjoy delicious meals together. There are sliding glass doors to the screened front porch where there are a table and chairs—perfect for glampers to unwind and relax in after an adventurous day spent exploring the surrounding area.
Located near Paradox Lake, in addition to the natural sand beach and swim raft, there are docks and a complimentary rowboat during warmer months. There are also rentals available for glampers to use including six horse-power with 14-foot outboard boats, canoes, kayaks, and Sunfish sailboats.
The rental is equipped with a vacuum cleaner, cleaning products and we start you out with toilet paper, paper towels and Dish soap. For longer stays, Glampers should plan on bringing these supplies with you. Linens/Towels are only provided after Columbus weekend in October to Mid-May. Glampers should plan on bringing linens during warmer months or inquire about renting.

This glamping site is located in such a place that glampers will be overwhelmed with the sheer amount of attractions and activities available for them to enjoy. From hiking trails in the Adirondack Region that is famous for its rolling hills, lush green forests, and pristine lakes. From winter to spring, visitors come all year round to experience the best of each season. Adirondack State Park is home to amazing trails and pathways where glampers can explore and go hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
The hilly landscape is excellent for those who love rock climbing, mountaineering, and rappelling while the surrounding forests are home to amazing animal species and birds, so it's the perfect locale for wildlife enthusiasts, bird watchers, and photographers. The region also boasts some interesting stone caves and bridges which make a perfect day trip destination.
Schroon Lake and Lake George are known for their vastness and beauty are both very close to this glamping site. Guests love the lakes for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, boating, water skiing, riding jet skis, and boating.
The Adirondacks is also a well-known region for winter sports, where downhill skiing and snowboarding are popular in the mountains where the flat terrain below is terrific for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and exploring on snowmobiles.

Bring life preservers (PFDs) because New York State law require that there be one aboard for each person in any boat and that children under the age of 12 wear a preserver at all times in the boats. For glampers who do not have any PFDs, there are some available for rent at the glamping site for rent a $1.00 each for the length of stay.
Do not bring outboard motors, the host's rental outboards are 6HP on 14-foot rowboats. Larger boats or motors are not permitted on the docks. Please turn off car alarms while at this glamping site and cell phones when on the beach.
Guests are responsible for cleaning the house before leaving. Please remember that during the summer, the next family will be arriving very soon after departure and if the house is not left as found. guests could be charged an additional fee for cleaning.
Guests must bring proof of current rabies vaccination for their furry friends and dogs must be leashed at all times and are not permitted on the beach.
In addition to basic charges, glampers will be billed on departure for rental items such as a motorboat, sailboat, life preservers, linens, blankets, etc. A schedule of the rental fees is posted in the cabin rental.
Pets are welcome for an additional fee.
Guests are asked to please note that during the summer season (End of June to Labor Day) the host only rents Saturday to Saturday. If it is a last minute rental, host approval will be needed for partial weeks.
