Luxury Five-Bedroom Cabin Rental for Large Groups Along Vega Lake, Colorado
Set along Vega Lake in Collbran, Colorado, this 6,500 square foot luxury cabin rental can sleep up to 17 guests and is the perfect year-round getaway. Set at an elevation of 8,200 feet it features incredible craftsmanship, from its custom cabinetry to its wrought iron railings. Inside boasts six bedrooms and three bathrooms. However, its most stunning features include an open loft with a log railing, an immaculate wood-burning fireplace, and a grand deck. Additionally, guests will have a laundry room, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a grand living space.
The master bedroom comes with a king bed and one set of bunk beds comprising of a full bottom and a twin top. The second master bedroom is on the upper level and comes with a king bed and a baby crib. Two additional beds on the second floor are set with a queen-size bed and a single bed. Perfect for kids, guests will also have a fourth bedroom with a set of bunk beds. Lastly, there is an open loft with a queen bed and a sofa.
The modern and well-appointed kitchen features a breakfast bar with seating for up to 10. This area is an open layout that it shared with the living room and dining room. This living room comes set with 35-foot cathedral ceilings and custom-made beams. The dining room can seat another seven guests. Glampers who stay here with families can enjoy a theater room with large couches, handcrafted pine paneled walls and an 80-inch smart TV. For entrainment, guests will find 500 DVDs to choose from, a foosball table, as well as a Wii and a PS-3 video game system. Guests are sure to love their stay at one of the best Vega Reservoir cabins.
Facilities here include heating, a wood-burning stove, and internet. There are a clothes dryer, a washing machine, and an iron and an ironing board. Guests will enjoy quality linens and towels, as well as the convenience of on-site parking. Outdoors, guests will have a 500-square-foot deck, a fire pit, and an outdoor gas grill.
The hosts will also supply winter sports equipment including, four cross country skis, three sets of snow shoes and seven sleds. Glampers will also find three bicycles. Go hiking in the immaculate Grand Mesa National Forest, spend some time biking local trails, and even go four wheel driving! In the winter, guests can enjoy a cross-country skiing getaway, go snowmobiling or enjoy a quiet time snowshoeing. Popular snowmobiling destinations include the Vega Snowmobile Trail #545 at the Vega State Park Trailhead and Trailhead #37-A, set just a few minutes from this property. The trail #37 continues on Forest Service Road 262 in the Park Creek drainage through aspen into open meadows in Big Park. The wildlife here depends highly on the season. For a majority of the year, guests will find deer, elk, moose, eagles, chipmunks and fox. In addition, there are marmots, wild turkeys and numerous species of birds, all year-round. -
