Florissant

Florissant is a great getaway location for glampers looking to escape from it all and get back to nature. the town itself is charming, with a small range of eateries and stores to service all of your needs. But it is its proximity to so many wonderful sites that is really the drawcard of Florissant. Head to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument to see fossilized redwood trees from the dawn of time, or to Pikes Peak Historical Society Museum to learn about the local history of the area. Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is also close by, and an excellent place to learn more about these noble beasts. And of course, you can always visit Mueller State Park and Lake George.
