There is plenty for glampers to do while on vacation in this coastal area of Maine. Reid State Park, with its beautiful, sandy beaches and hiking trails, is just a few miles from the property, further into Georgetown. Guests should be sure to visit the Five Islands Lobster Company to enjoy the best lobsters, lobster rolls, fish sandwiches, corn on the cob, and harbor views. Five Islands Farm and Gourmet Market is also an excellent source of fine wine, beers, local produce, meats, cheeses, and gifts.
The property is a ten-minute drive from the town of Bath, which has great coffee shops, a bookstore, deli, grocery store, yoga studio, a barbecue restaurant, and Maine Maritime Museum. In addition, glampers will only be 20 minutes from Brunswick, home to a range of bars and restaurants, and an indie movie theater. 30 minutes away, there is Freeport, where the original L.L. Bean store and outlets are.
