This gorgeous adobe-style home is located just outside of Santa Cruz, California, and is perfect for two guests or a small family looking to get away from it all. The home boasts one bedroom with a stately king-size bed and one full newly remodeled bathroom. Bedding, linens, towels, organic toiletries, and toilet paper are provided for guests.
After a full day of exploring the outdoors, guests will appreciate returning to the comfortable living area, which features lovely decor, a spacious sectional couch, and views of the garden and sunset outside. The fully-equipped kitchen lies adjacent and boasts appliances such as an oven, a stove, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, and a Vitamix blender, along with essential dishes, cutlery, and cookware. Guests can share meals around the breakfast bar.
Guests can also enjoy the shared pool and shared hot tub and may book time at our private Spa and Sauna for an additional fee. We also offer on-site massage, yoga, chiropractic, sound healing, aromatherapy, and other wellness offerings.
Outside, guests will find walking paths winding through a variety of lush vegetation, gardens, a bamboo forest, forest sanctuary, and a koi pond surrounded by wooden benches. The unique soil type on the property and micro-climate in this banana belt of Santa Cruz makes for one of the most diverse ecosystems in the Santa Cruz mountains with cacti, tropical plants, and native plants juxtaposed against the gorgeous redwoods of northern California.

Strolling down the walking paths of the retreat's peaceful grounds, guests will find a variety of lush vegetation, a bamboo garden, a swimming pool, a hot tub, and a koi pond surrounded by wooden benches, offering guests a chance to reconnect with nature in an idyllic setting that exudes a sense of harmony with its natural environment.
The property borders the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, where guests will find 30 miles of hiking trails and 10 miles of fire roads that wind through more than 10,000 acres of variegated terrain blanketed in dense redwood forests, chaparral, and woodlands full of alders, maples, cottonwoods, oaks, and Douglas firs. The entrance to the park is about 15 minutes away, as is Seacliff State Beach and Rio Del Mar Beach. The rental is ten minutes from the restaurants, shops, boutiques, and restaurants of Aptos.
