Joshua Tree National Park has plenty of interesting and stimulating outdoor activities to take part in. There are plenty of opportunities in Joshua Tree for hiking, climbing, horseback riding, and even going on unique tours like exploring Joshua Tree in a Hummer. There are several local landmarks worth seeing such as the Integratron, which is an acoustically-perfect structure, and Pioneertown, which is a famous old Western town and movie set. Gubler Orchids is another must-see when glamping in Joshua Tree, where guests can take a tour of the facility and enjoy its beauty.
Music-lovers will enjoy a trip to Pappy and Harriet's Pioneertown Palace, which is a great place to watch local and LA-based bands perform. There is also the Joshua Tree Music Festival in the spring and the Joshua Tree Roots Festival in the fall to enjoy. Country fans will also love the Gram Parsons Festival each October, which honors the country-rock legacy.
