Parkdale

Parkdale is a small community located in northern Oregon. The Hood River flows to the north, which marks the state line between Oregon and Washington, while Mount Hood National Forest surrounds the town to the east, south, and west. Beyond the state line lies Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Whichever direction you head, there’s a ton of natural beauty to behold. In the summer, strap on your boots and head out for a hike on one of the numerous trails in the area, head out to one of the nearby orchards to pick apples, or just enjoy a drive past the many local farms. Winter visitors can head out for some skiing and snowboarding at Mount Hood Meadows, just a short distance from Parkdale. Anyone craving a foray into a more metropolitan environment can drive out to the bustling city of Portland.
