The rental can accommodate up to seven guests with a double bed and two single beds in the two bedrooms in the cabin while there is a sleeper sofa for one and a double in the smokehouse. The cabin rental has one bathroom with a shower and bath combination as well as a toilet and a hand basin. The fully equipped kitchen features an oven, microwave, stove, refrigerator and various cooking utensils and the living area comes with comfortable seating and a television with Direct TV and Netflix. Guests can enjoy a barbecue meal from the grill at the outdoor dining time while taking in the stunning views.
The cabin rental has everything needed for families to enjoy an entertaining and authentic farm experience. Guests can chill out in the hammock on the cabin’s back porch or have some friendly competition on the bocce ball court. The smokehouse includes a double bed upstairs and children will love playing in the sandbox outside. There are bikes available to explore the surrounding trails, and there are Direct TV and free Wi-Fi inside the cabin.

The New River passes through the town and is widely regarded as one of the oldest and most scenic rivers in the eastern United States. Jefferson can be reached by a three-hour car journey from Raleigh and a two hour trip from Charlotte.

Guests are welcome to bring one dog free of charge but there is a fee of $10 for the second dog. Dogs over one year old are welcome on the property; however, they must be kept on a leash until the hosts can determine how well they react to the resident farm animals.
