This elevated cabin for rent in the secluded woodlands of the Nantahala National Forest in North Carolina is perfect for couples looking for a peaceful and romantic getaway in the great outdoors. The luxury, 200-square-foot camping accommodation offers a queen-size bed and private bathroom. It is attached to owner's residence and back deck.
The kitchenette is fully equipped cook simple meals as no meals are provided by host. This includes a sink, counter height refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, and all necessary pots, pans, and dishes. Guests can cook on the gas barbecue outside or on a hot plate. Guests can enjoy their meal on their private deck at the bistro set or inside the hosts screened-in porch at the dining table.
Furthermore, guests can find a closet with open shelving for storage in the cabin, a flat-screen television with cable, and a DVD player—movies provided or guests can bring their own. A landline telephone—free U.S. long distance—, air-conditioning, heating, and a ceiling fan are also featured.
Outside, guests can make meals on the gas barbecue and enjoy them on their private deck at the bistro set or inside the screened porch at the dining table. Imagine waking up among the trees and enjoying the peaceful surroundings that this glamping site offers.

The glamping property is in the backwoods on a slight gravel grade, two miles from a paved road, and there is no cell, WiFi or texting. Cabin has a landline. All vehicles need 5" clearance due to 1.2 miles of uneven gravel and dirt road with potholes and bumps. Not suitable for motorcycles. Be aware venomous snakes and wild animals are indigenous to the area. Pets, service animals, events or parties are not allowed.
This glamping property has a queen bed accommodating two guests and not suitable for children.
The small kitchenette has a counter height refrigerator, hot plate, toaster oven, coffee pot and filters, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and access to a gas grill with side burner that allows you to make simple meals.
Directions will be sent once the booking is confirmed. The host cannot stress enough the importance of using only their directions or it WILL lead guests to a washed-out road. Guests can contact the host if they are concerned about the road condition.
Smoking or incense burning is not allowed. Smoking is permitted outside near carport.
This is a dry alcohol county. Packaged liquor cannot be purchased, so please plan accordingly.

There is no requirement to get in the car to explore nature while staying on an old logging road that follows the creek for miles. The stress of civilization starts to fall away, it is peaceful, remote, and surrounded by nature's beauty. The site is close to the Cherohala Skyway and "Tail of the Dragon". Other activities available in the area include dining, craft shops, music, waterfalls, and water sports, such as kayaking, canoeing, and river rafting.
