Guntersville

Guntersville is a fantastic place for a glamping getaway. The town itself is fantastic, with numerous excellent restaurants and bars well worth visiting, and a strong arts scene. It is also blessed with three excellent recreational areas: Lake Guntersville State Park, Cathedral Caverns State Park, and Buck’s Pocket State Park. Cathedral Caverns is home to the world’s largest stalagmite, largest stalagmite forest, and largest frozen waterfall - covering an incredible 14 acres in total. Buck’s Pocket State Park is a unique canyon covering 2,000 acres which is well worth a visit. And in Lake Guntersville State Park you can enjoy both the lake and land, whether you'd like to go skiing, boating, fishing, hiking, biking, or birding.
