Alba

The land that became Alba, Texas is believed to have first been settled by white pioneers in 1843. Population increased when the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railroad came through and then coal and oil was discovered, but today it’s still a small town. To the north is Lake Fork with places to go boating, canoeing, paddleboarding, or swimming. The Burleson Wetlands are a great place to spend some quiet solitude enjoying nature. Lake Tawakoni to the west is another beautiful place to cool off in the hot summer sun.
