Martindale

Located on the outskirts of Austin, Martindale, Texas is easily accessible from the big city. Glampers living in the big city can easily head here for a weekend getaway, and those flying in from out of town will be able to drive here quickly. Established in 1851 by Nancy Martindale, the town steadily grew over time. The weather here is humid subtropical, meaning the summers are extremely hot and humid. The San Marcos River runs through the city, providing an excellent place to go boating and fishing. To the west is Canyon Lake, where hikers and bikers can follow trails around the perimeter, and glampers can go swimming, fishing, and boating. Head to Overlook Park or Potters Creek Park for a beautiful place to picnic and take pictures. Head to Martindale, Texas for an epic glamping adventure.
