There is a picnic table and a fire pit on the property, perfect for guests to have cook-outs and roast s’mores at night. This 67-acre property is ideal for guests to explore the many trails, the small pond, and visit the adorable Nigerian Dwarf goats that are cared for on the property. Parking is available for guests’ convenience.

This is a recently restored farm, with the goal of bringing biodiversity back to the area. Therefore the hosts asks that guests: value all species living here; learn from the regenerative nature of the flora and fauna; share the responsibility of caring for the area, and grow their appreciation for the Earth during their stay. The 67 acres are enclosed and gated.

We ask that campers park their cars just inside the gate and camp within "range" of a new cedar outhouse with composting toilet, located in the southwest corner of the property (close to the front gate). The entire acreage is open to exploring and there is a small pond (great for dog swimming only). Along with outdoor composting toilet. There is potable water available in campground. Guests will love visiting the nearby town of Bastrop, where they can spend the day kayaking and canoeing with the Bastrop River Company, as well as rafting, paddle boarding, and tubing. Bastrop’s Main Street in the Historic District boasts many quaint shops, boutiques, and art galleries for guests to roam through. This destination is near the state capital, Austin, where guests will find endless activities and attractions, including The Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail, Graffiti Park at Castle Hills, and the unique Congress Avenue Bridge, where people gather every night to observe the 1.5 million bats that live there. The farm is home to two dogs, turkeys, ducks, chickens, longhorn cattle, and a Nigerian dwarf dairy herd. There is also a Labyrinth located near the main farm house for guests to enjoy.

The nearest town is Bastrop, situated 20 miles North.

Guests should expect to see deer, turkeys, coyotes, bobcats, gophers, black buck, long horn cattle, Barbados sheep, Mouflon sheep and grey fox during their stay.

We are located at the far end of a sandy stretch of road, completely private. The 67 acres are completely enclosed and gated, so you can't get lost for too long, as you wander the well maintained trails that meander through the forests and meadows on the farm.
