Glampers staying in this idyllic retreat on the beach will enjoy a memorable few days exploring the landscape and coastline of Roatán in Honduras. In the mornings, glampers can wake up and walk right down to the ocean, where they can swim, surf, kayak, sunbathe, read, and go for long walks along the sand. Guests can also have gourmet meals at Ixora, the resort’s beachfront restaurant, or go swimming in the shared pool in the afternoons. There are also multiple pathways and trails that wind through the surrounding 150 acres of wild jungle, inviting guests to go bird watching or hiking for a few hours without having to leave the resort property.
Glampers can also spend a few days exploring the various attractions on the island, including the beaches in West Bay, Maya Key, and Little French Key, as well as the zipline and adventure parks in the jungle and Gumbalina Animal Preserve on the south half of the island. There are plenty of fishing charters that guests can book throughout the year, as well as scuba diving and snorkeling trips on the Caribbean Sea, hiking trips through the jungle, and parks where guests can visit the monkeys, birds, and dolphins that inhabit the island. In the towns along the coast, guests can grab a bite to eat in any of seafood restaurants or cafes, or meander through the boutiques and art galleries that are situated throughout the villages.
