Each guest tent is a private unit complete with shady veranda, his and hers wash basins, ensuite bathroom with flush toilet and safari shower, filled daily with hot water on request. The tents nestle amongst a riverine forest and are spaced so that each has a unique view of the surrounding bush and wildlife. The tents are furnished with solid, comfortable furniture so that you have the ultimate in camping-luxury to come back to after exciting game drives.

A secondary camp located within the immediate vicinity of the glamping lodge is made up of two spacious suites which are uniquely designed to blend in effortlessly with the surrounding riverine forest. Each tent contains 2 double or twin rooms both en-suite with their own spacious bathrooms, inter-joined by a communal lounge and dining area. A dedicated team of staff caters to your every need. Both of these stunning tents have their own private bar and fire places set up strategically along the Talek River with complete privacy and spectacular views. This camp can be booked and used as an exclusive private arrangement, or used in conjunction with the main glamping site and its facilities.

Finally, three luxurious double tents are also located at this glamping site. Each tent contains its own en suite bathroom, king sized bed and is delicately furnished. There is a dedicated team of staff who will attend to your every need at Naibor Wilderness. There is a private mess tent with light, soft furnishings and spectacular views and a vehicle that will seat 6 people is available.

There are no electric outlets in the tents. The site runs purely off solar power at Naibor. If you wish to charge anything, you can do so from the managers office. There are running taps at the secondary camp, while the other tents all have jugs of water. All of the tents feature bucket showers.

The main ‘mess’ tent is beautifully located overlooking the Talek River and beyond where animals regularly come to drink. Comfortable floor-cushions, rugs and sofas invite the weary to relax and enjoy the sounds of the wilderness and the campfire provides a welcome spot for pre-dinner drinks in the evening. Meals are made from the finest fresh ingredients, prepared by our experienced chefs. Dinner is served at either the long banquet table or at private tables under the stars, whilst breakfast and lunch may either be served in camp or as a picnic during a morning of game watching.

The lodge's location allows guests to experience wildlife from a prime position in the heart of the reserve, yet within a short drive you can enjoy the freedom of the conservancy. Walking with our knowledgeable and experienced guides and Masai rangers is a very popular activity outside the reserve, allowing for some memorable moments and a chance to see the bush from a very different perspective.

Game drives are also a great opportunity to witness the plentiful and varied wildlife that inhabits the surrounding area. Animals seen regularly in the reserve include lion, leopard, cheetah, black rhino, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra, among others. Bird life is excellent around the camp and the surrounding environs.

Sun downers on Look Out Hill or in some other carefully chosen site are also an excellent way to spend the last hours of the day. Sunsets in the Mara are spectacular.

Please note that excursions to local villages and massages are available at an extra charge.

Children under 8 years are accepted on request, but please note that this is a private, wilderness destination so parental supervision is necessary at all times. Regretfully, children under 12 years are not permitted to go on safari walks. It is appreciated if parents would show consideration to other guests where children are concerned. Early dinners for children and a child-minding service for your convenience are provided.

The new Spa offers first class massages, reflexology, foot scrubs, manicures and pedicures, amongst other luxuries. Situated in a nice shady spot on the banks of the Talek River, the Spa is an ideal way to relax surrounded by the natural beauty of the Masai Mara.

Hot Air Ballooning can be arranged in advance or whilst in camp. The closest place to take clients ballooning is Fig Tree. The drive takes approximately 20 minutes.

Cultural visits to see how the Masai live can also be arranged.

Bush Meals are also a popular extra activity. The “Out of Africa” style bush meals are set up for any number of people in a private exclusive location. All locations are carefully chosen to maximize on the views, and wildlife sightings.
