In the welcoming lounge area, glampers will find two comfy sofas, one of which converts to a bed, if needed. The decor is simple and in keeping with the rural setting of the property. Re-purposed copper milk churns have been used to house plants, and there is a plush, cozy rug on the floor. The host has provided a fun game of Giant Jenga, for entertainment. The functional kitchen comes with a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, a toaster, and a tea kettle, along with an array of handy dishes and utensils. Meals and drinks can be enjoyed at the dining table. Other amenities in the tent include heating and air conditioning, for the comfort of glampers.
Outside, there is an inviting sunken fire pit area, with seating space, for evening chats and star gazing. To the rear of the accommodation, guests will be able to relax and unwind in their own luxurious hot tub.

The town of Raglan and the surrounding areas offer plenty of fun activities. Those who love the outdoors will find that there are many hiking and biking trails to enjoy. Keen explorers can hike stunning coastal paths, go on native bush walks, see spectacular waterfalls, or even take on Mount Karioi. This ancient volcano rises sharply from the sea and features in local Maori legend. It's a challenging climb, but glampers will be rewarded at the summit with a panoramic view over the local harbors and surrounding landscape. Guests wishing to discover the area on two wheels can take a guided tour, or hire a bike, and experience some of Raglan’s great cycling tracks. Local outfitters can offer rock climbing, canyoning, and caving excursions, for guests who are feeling brave.
Glampers will be able to take to the sea, with a huge choice of water-based activities on offer. Raglan is home to some great swimming spots, and guests can also go boating, paddle-boarding, kayaking, kite-boarding, and windsurfing here. Keen fishermen will be able to take a chartered trip to reel in snapper, kingfish, and kahawai. This region is best known for its amazing surfing. The town has built its identity around its surf culture and is regularly featured on lists of the world’s best surf destinations. There are many local companies offering lessons and equipment rental. Beginners should try the waves at Ocean Beach, while more experienced surfers can head to Whale Bay or Ruapuke beach.
