The getaway was originally lovingly designed by architect Pedro Domingos on a large plot of land within a tranquil nature reserve. As such, guests will have the serenity of nature all around them in the form of hundreds of olive, almond, and cork trees, as well as gorgeous wildflowers.

The living areas come with a minimalistic design and feature a lot of ceramics, pottery, and blankets that were locally made, as well as a sublime fireplace that was designed in 1965 by architects Alfonso Mila and Federico Correa. The hosts even had all the doors, windows, and shutters handmade by an architect with local wood from the north of Portugal. The kitchen area comes with everything guests will need to cook up some delicious meals and the locally sourced natural stone kitchen counter only adds more elegance to this incredible retreat.

Outside, guests will find the resplendent garden which contains numerous local and native plants from the Algarve and a lot of local herbs and aromatic plants that guests are welcome to use for cooking, infusions, or aromatic treatments. The pool area is absolutely spectacular and also comes built from locally sourced stone. After a day of lounging by the pristine waters, guests can cook up a tasty dinner to be enjoyed at the outdoor dining table while surrounded by the serene sights and sounds of this magnificent area of the world.

The rental has a minimum night stay of seven throughout the year is rented from Saturday to Saturday in the high season.

This vacation rental boasts a variety of facilities to ensure a wonderful stay for guests. A fireplace and heating will keep the area warm and cozy in the cooler months, while the roof terrace provides cool breezes during summer and has breathtaking views. Linens are provided and there is a laundry room with a washing machine and clothes dryer that guests are welcome to use. For entertainment, guests will have use of a digital high-definition television with 125 channels, a sound system for iPods and MP3 players, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
