Carmarthenshire

Carmarthenshire is an area in south-west Wales comprised of many towns. The three largest towns are Llanelli, Carmarthen, and Ammanford. Today, its economy prospers from agriculture, forestry, fishing, and tourism. The coast provides many outdoor activities, including the Millennium Coastal Park, the National Wetlands Centre, and Burry Port and Pembrey harbors. Llansteffan and Pendine beaches are popular destinations, as is visiting the boathouse of Dylan Thomas, a Welsh poet. Inland, glampers can visit medieval castles, hillforts, and standing stones.
