The area offers its visitors an array of tourist attractions and outdoor activities. There are more than 8 pubs within walking distance and at least 6 other excellent bars and inns within a 2-5 mile walk. They all serve good quality, home cooked food and ale and some also have pool tables.
Another point of interest is Berwick Farm Shop that sells every thing you could possibly need for your glamping trip. There is also a mini market in Stapleford (2 miles South) and a large supermarket in Amesbury (6 Miles East). The site also sells a small quantity of range-free eggs from their chickens.
There are beautiful mountain bike, hiking and walking trails on Salisbury Plain, in Grovely Woods, the Till Valley and in Wylye Valley. For nature wildlife enthusiasts there is a Nature Reserve at Cherry Lodge just a short drive to the north on Salisbury Plain. The area is full of animals such as barn owls, deer, rabbits, sheep, chickens and horses. There are excellent fishing opportunities and golf courses in the near vicinity.
Other points of interest around the campsite include: Wilton House (period house), Wilton Shopping village (mall), Salisbury Cathedral (with Britain's tallest medieval spire), Salisbury Art Festivals (from mid May to early June), Stourhead Gardens, Longleat House and Safari Park, Bath (beautiful historic city with numerous spa facilities and hot springs), Winchester (England's ancient capital featuring the Knights of the Round Table), Bournmouth Beach, and last but not least, the amazing world famous prehistoric monument of Stonehenge.
