Surrounded by rolling green hills and lush meadows, this barn rental was originally built in 1390 and then lovingly restored in 1995 while preserving many of the original features including the exposed wooden beams and, the now heated, flagstone floor.

The barn rental can accommodate up to five guests with a bright and airy double bedroom downstairs that features a king-size bed complete with an antique brass frame and an upstairs room that includes two single beds and a fold out sofa bed, making it the ideal rental for a group of friends or a family with children. There is a tiled, modern bathroom with a glass shower cubicle, a toilet, and a hand basin as well as clean, fresh towels and a selection of basic toiletries for extra convenience.

The open concept main room is a cozy hangout spot fitted with rugs and farm decorations where guests can sit back in the comfortable sofas in front of the television or with a local guide from the living area’s library. There is a fully-equipped kitchen that showcases a varnished wood surface and includes an oven, a stove, a microwave, a toaster, and a refrigerator as well as an array of cooking utensils and cutlery. Guests can enjoy home-cooked meals at the dining table for six while admiring the quintessential English countryside views or sit outside on the patio while taking in the sun and the soothing sounds of nature.

Although the property has a historic appearance, it is well-equipped and guests are bound to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing getaway here. There is a washing machine should guests wish to do laundry during their stay and the property comes with free access to Wi-Fi.
